Obituary
Tina (Wiggins) Szigety, of Farmington, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, May 5, 2023.
Tina was born on November 8, 1965, in Torrance, CA. She was the daughter of Paul and Mary Christine (Bustos) Wiggins . She grew up in Farmington and graduated from Farmington High School in 1983. After graduation, Tina worked as a waitress at local restaurants in the Farmington area. In 1988, she met the love of her life, Chuck Szigety, and they enjoyed traveling the Country together in their motor home. Tina was known as a loving and caring person who always put others first. She will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives. Especially, her father as she was “daddy’s girl”.
She is survived by her husband Chuck Szigety of Farmington. Also surviving are her parents, Paul and Mary Christine Wiggins and four siblings, Anthony Wiggins of Farmington, Alex (Mary Jane) Wiggins of Farmington, Lillian (Wiggins) Valdez-Midby of Bloomfield, and Paula (Wiggins) Prugh (Kelly) of Farmington, besides many other relatives and friends.
At the family’s request, no funeral services or memorial will be held. Instead, donations may be made to Basin Hospice in Farmington, NM.
