Obituary
Hoskie Brown Sr. of Two Grey Hills, New Mexico entered eternal rest on April 1, 2023.
He was born for the Ta’neeszahnii (Tangle People) clan into the Nakaii Dine (Mexican People) clan.
He was born in his Family Hogan on November 30, 1936, in Two Grey Hills.
Hoskie was preceded in death by his father, Johnson Brown, his mother, Jesse Brown, his Brothers: Frank Brown, Nelson Brown, Billie Brown, and Harold Brown, his sisters: Ella Brown, Rose Lapahie, and Grace Bitsilly, his son, Melvin L. Brown, and grandson, Lionel J. Tuley.
He is survived by his wife, Laura L. Brown, his sons: Michael L. Brown and Hoskie Brown Jr., and his Daughters: Libby L. Brown, Lois L. Brown, Sophie L. Sims, Sybil L. Brown-Begay, and Hilda L. Wilson.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 7th. 2023 at 11:00 am at Farmington United Pentecostal Church, 1900 North Fairview Avenue, Farmington, NM. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am.
Hoskie Sr. will be laid to rest at the Lower Water Cemetery Family Plot in Two Grey Hills, NM.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Brown, Nathan Brown, Othell Wilson, Samuel Legah, Adrian Thompson, Darin Benally, Zachary Legah and Bryant Brown.
A reception will follow at Two Grey Hills Chapter House.
