Obituary

Farmington, NM- Celebration of Life for Denise (Deno) Renee Werito will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 10 am,  Hills Church- 5101 N Dustin Ave, Farmington, NM.

Burial will follow after service at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Huerfano, NM.

Reception will follow after the burial at World Harvest Conference Center.

Denise Renee Werito was born on August 29, 1960 and was a resident of Farmington, NM.

Denise Renee Werito went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 5, 2023. Denise lived a devoted life to Christ to age 62. 

Denise Renee Werito was the only cherished daughter of Andrew & Susie Werito, from Farmington, NM. 

Denise Renee Werito attended Bloomfield High School and Graduated in 1978. She then graduated college in 1985 from S.I.P.I.- Albuquerque, NM. She then persuaded additional education and graduated from Rhema Bible College- Broken Arrow, OK in 1987.

Denise Renee Werito had a passion for all things style and cosmetology. Which lead her to peruse an education in the field of beauty & cosmetology. She completed her training in cosmetology at Vogue College of Cosmetology in 1992.

She began her beauty career at Supercuts in Albuquerque, NM & Farmington. She was a Salon Manager/Stylist for 15 years at Mastercuts- Farmington, NM, and more recently a Stylist at Aloha Salon- Farmington, NM. During her career as Cosmetologist, she enjoyed conversations with clients and her close friends. She always made time to witness or speak about her faith. She also was a Sunday school teacher at New Hope AG. She really enjoyed teaching her kids about the Lord and also making craft projects come to life. Her students/grandkids are really gonna miss her smile and her laughter.

Denise Renee Werito is survived by her two sons whom she loved with all her heart: Sage Andrew Yazzie and Mateo Roe Yazzie. 

Denise Renee Werito is survived by her parents Andrew & Susie Werito and her 5 brothers and one sister: Cordell & Cecilia Werito, Virgil A. Werito, Michel B. Werito, Cornelius G. Werito and Shaun A. Werito. Also, survived by nieces and nephews: Cory O. Werito, Varian A. Werito, Cassandra (Fabian) Valdez, Catrina N. Werito and Cyle O. Werito, and Cordelia E. Werito.

Denise Renee Werito is also survived by 14 grandchildren, whom she cared and loved tremendously.

Denise Renee Werito was preceded in death by her Grandparents Billy & Ella Werito, Bert and Anna White, Etta Benally, Lorena Begay, Kenneth White and Jessie Harvey. 

Pallbearers: Cory O. Werito, Varian A. Werito, Cyle O Werito, Virgil A. Werito, Fabian P. Valdez, Tim Smith, Micah Yazzie.

 

Honorary Pallbearers: Andrew A. Werito, Cordell Werito, Cornelius G. Werito, Micheal B. Werito, Shaun A. Werito and Daniel Coffee
