Van Michael Lipps passed from this external life on Thursday, November 17, 2022. He was born in Aransas Pass, Texas on January 10, 1946 to Errington and Marjorie Lipps. He served in the U.S Air Force from 1965 – 1968. He was a man of true Honor. He then moved to Farmington where he met his beloved wife, Frances. He worked for many trucking and oil field companies. Everyone he met, he impacted their lives in the most uplifting way. He had a huge heart, he always made sure his family was taken care of and he made sure they never went without. He was always putting a smile on everyone’s face. He had a way of making you feel like everything would always work out the way it was supposed to, even if it was wrong. He loved to go boating, fishing, and driving hours in his over the road truck. He loved talking about work. What rig was doing what. He took true pride in raising his son and daughter. Not only was he an amazing boss, friend, spouse, dad, grandpa, and great-grandpa, but he was an amazing man. Anyone who knew Van knows how special of a man he was. Van was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by everyone.
