Rose A Deyapp

Rose Adelaida Samora DeYapp 90, of Farmington, NM passed from this life on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her home. Rose was born in Monero, New Mexico to Emilia Ramirez and Marcelino Samora. Rose and her family came to reside in Farmington in 1961 where later they built DeYapp's Trailer Park and Rose managed the park for the last 40 years or so. Rose loved serving the Lord, she loved her husband dearly and loved her children and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Rose taught her family the importance of serving the Lord and attending church faithfully.

Rose is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Henry DeYapp, son, Robert "Ralph" DeYapp, father, Marcelino Samora and Mother, Emilia Ramirez, brother, Orlando Samora, sister, Nancy Morales, grandparents, Rafael Ramirez and Hilaria Medina, great-grandson, Marcelino Marquez, and two of her great-great grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her sons, Harry DeYapp, daughter-in-law, Donna Stone DeYapp, Kenneth (Barbara) DeYapp, and Jeremy DeYapp, daughters, Janet DeYapp, Peggy (Marcos) Marquez, Sue DeYapp Gallegos, Emily (Paul, Sr.) Quintana, brother, Eli (Leonor) Samora, sisters, Virginia (Gilbert) Armenta, Martha (Wes) Stucki, 17 granchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing for Rose will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home.

A second viewing for Rose will take place on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with services to follow at World Harvest Center, 1024 N. Butler Avenue, Farmington, NM Officiated by Pastor Les Cumiford.

Interment will be held at Memory Gardens following service. A reception will take place in the Sanctuary of World Harvest Center Church following interment.
