Nelson Robert Norberto, Sr.

Nelson R. Norberto Sr. of Bloomfield, NM passed away on March 11, 2023, in Shiprock. He was born on September 14, 1934, in Kimbeto into the Kinyaa'áanii (The Towering House clan) for Todích'íí'nii (Bitterwater clan).  Nelson, a beloved husband, father (grandfather), brother, and uncle is survived by his wife Louise S. Norberto, brother, Thomas Norberto, sisters, Mollie James, Lorraine Norberto, Elouise Baker, son, Ben Norberto, grandsons, Brian R. Norberto, Devin D. Norberto, Francisco Apachito, and granddaughter Anita Norberto. He is preceded in death by his father Francis Norberto, mother Betty Norberto, sons, Nelson Norberto Jr., Stewart Norberto, Fabian De Vallenti Norberto, and grandson, Alex Watchman.

Visitation will be at 10 am and the Service will be at 11 am on Monday, March 20 at Brewer Lee and Larkin 103 E. Ute St. Farmington, NM.  Burial will be at the Bloomfield Cemetery followed by the reception at Bloomfield LDS Church.
