Leslie Ray Stokes

Leslie Ray Stokes, 75, of Aztec, New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born January 5, 1947 in Blythe, California to Russell and Norma Stokes.

Leslie joined the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. He enjoyed building and flying his own airplane.

Leslie is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Norma Stokes, sister, Jane Slater.

Leslie is survived by his loving wife, Francis Stokes, son, John Stokes, daughter, Carmen McKinney, brother, Jim Stokes, sister, Edyth Merchant.

Leslie’s funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Viewing 9:30 am, Service 10:00 am at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E Ute St, Farmington, New Mexico. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Farmington, New Mexico.
