Khari Jones Tsosie

Khari J. Tsosie, 29 years old, passed away Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 in Farmington, NM.  He was born in Shiprock, NM on June 15, 1992 to parents Jones Tsosie and LaVerne Y. Tsosie.

Khari is survived by his father Jones Tsosie and mother LaVerne Y. Tsosie.  Son: Kaidan L. Tsosie.  Brother’s: Jeremiah Tsosie, Adam Tsosie.  Sister: Heather Tsosie.  Nieces: Aiyanna J., Colisha, and Zinnia.  Along with other numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Khari attended Kirtland Central High School.  Shortly after, he enrolled at San Juan College and studied criminal justice.  He recently landed a job with San Juan County as a park security guard for Sunray Park and facilities.  Khari was very excited to continue his security duties and further his accomplishments along the way.  When he wasn’t working, he loved to spend time with his son Kaidan and pick him up after school, play video games for hours or go eat out with just the two of them.

He was a humorous, loving and very protective dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He would give great advice if you asked him for it.  We are deeply saddened by the early loss of Khari and he will be extremely missed.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Brewer Lee & Larkin funeral home located at 103 East Ute Street, Farmington, NM 87401.

Funeral services are scheduled for the following day Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 10 a.m. at The Oasis Ministries church located at 1601 North Dustin Ave. Farmington, NM 87401.

Khari is in the care of the Brewer Lee and Larkin funeral home.
