Jose (Joe) S. Romero, 82, of Bloomfield, NM passed away in Farmington on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Jose was born to Filemon Romero and Tiva Martinez on May 6, 1940 in Capulin, Colorado.

Jose, a retired Diesel Mechanic enjoyed hiking and winemaking.

Jose is preceded in death by his father, Filemon Romero, his mother, Tiva Martinez, brother, Robert Romero. He is survived by his wife, Lucy Romero, daughter, Yvonne Garrison (Jess), sons, Joey Romero (Sylvia Ortega), Sean Romero (Becky), Troy Romero (Denise), brothers, Phil Romero (Ruth), Raymond Romero, sisters, Dora Romero, Libby Hergert (Mark), Gloria Wurzbach (Jim), Peggy Romero, Anna Romero (Dennis), multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Interment will be determined at a later date.
