Johnson Don Chavez Jr., 50, of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, in Albuquerque. He was born Sept. 11, 1965, in Keams Canyon, Ariz., to Sylvia L. and Johnson D. Chavez Sr. Johnson was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St. in Farmington. Burial will follow in the Navajo Mission Cemetery in Torreon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cope Memorial Chapel, 458 Road 6100, Kirtland.
