Gwendolyn Matlock

Gwendolyn Matlock, 77, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013, in Farmington. She was born September 10, 1936, in Clovis, to Alice and Dan Wyatt. She was a medical records technician, a certified transcriptionist and she was FCC licensed. Gwendolyn was a good wife and mother. Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Oudia Carol Hammac. She is survived by her husband, W.O. Matlock; son, William Matlock; daughter, Sheryl Miller; sister, Cora Lee Veal; grandchildren, Joshua D. Lucas, James Allen Matlock, Morgan William Matlock, Marcus Andrew Matlock, Mary Elisabeth Matlock, Amanda Louise Matlock, John E. Miller; great-grandchild, Addyson Lucas; and the family would like to give special mention to Tony Estes. A service will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, at the First United Methodist Church, 1105 N. First Street in Bloomfield. Gwendolyn's care is entrusted to Alternative Choice, 804 N.
