Fidel Martinez

Fidel Martinez, 58, of Farmington, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday December 9, 2020 in Farmington, New Mexico. He was born on December 1, 1962 in Chama, New Mexico to Jose and Cordilia Martinez.

Fidel is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Horacio Martinez and Cordilia Martinez, his brother Horacio A Martinez, his sister Sofia Marshall, and his grandparents Jake and Elosia Gonzales.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Christine Martinez; his son Joseph Salazar, and his daughter Alice Allie Lewis (Shawn).  He is also survived by his brothers: Herman Martinez (Sarah), Tony Martinez (Patsy), Emiliano Martinez (Henrietta), Johnny Martinez (Mela), and Alfred Martinez (Mary).  He is also survived by his sisters: Margaret Blea (Pete), Diane Córdova (Gustavo), Victoria Pena (Andy), and Lanette Lopez.   His in-laws: Alfred and Jane Valligos.

His grandchildren and great grandchildren are:  Alex Marie Graham (Jason), Ella Rose, April Dillon (Gabriel), Nevaeh, Devon, Trevor, Corinne, Liam, Serina Salazar, Osai, and Marc Salazar.

Fidel was born and raised in Chama New Mexico.
