Ewel Richard Roberts, 90, a U.S. Navy veteran of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017. He was born Nov. 29, 1926, in Coleman, Texas to O.R. and Ardie Roberts.
Ewel is survived by his wife, Pauline Roberts; his sons, Lindy (Kathy) and Randy (Sandy); nephew, Richard (Jana); niece Cara; grandchildren, Mychael (Ken) Wichersham, Tony (Kimberly), Amanda (Curt) Williams, Sacora (Wes) Rodgers and Tara; great-grandchildren, Alyx, Mckenzie, Hannah, Tonie Baylie, Paola, Ashleigh, Jared, Justin, Emory, Keegan and Aria; and great-great-grandchildren, Kylie and Emma.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 211 W. 20th St. in Farmington.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Ewel's son Randy's mission work in Costa Rica: MIBBSA, Inc.
