Ernest C Peshlakai

Ernest Clifford Peshlakai, 67 of Bisti, New Mexico passed away August 26, 2020. Graveside service for Ernest Clifford Peshlakai will be held at a family burial plot located in BlackLake, New Mexico on September 1st.

Ernest Clifford Peshlakai was born September 16, 1952 in Farmington New Mexico into the To’dichii’nii(Bitterwater clan) born for Ttááshchi’I (Red bottom(cheek) clan). Ernest returned home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2020.  Ernest was raised in Bisti and Fruitland as a child and then onto boarding school in Toadlena . Ernest graduated high school at Wingate high there he met his wife Ella Peshlakai. They were married and have been together ever since (48 years married). They both raise 10 children. Ernest was a strong believer in God and preach it from the Bible to family and loved ones. His main passion was to reach souls, do Bible studies and whatever the Lord laid on his heart. Ernest was baptized in Jesus name, a hand clapping ,feet stomping, body rocking ,devil chasing, true blue, red heart Holy Ghost filled believer in Christ. He like to watch sports and always rooted for the underdogs. Ernest love to sing and play on his guitar,he was a busy man and his hobby was to build things, work on stuff that needed to be done but his main passion has always been to do the Lord’s work.

Ernest is survive by his wife Ella Peshlakai sons, Daniel Peshlakai(Elleen Peshalaki) , Derrick Peshlakai(Leigh Peshlakai), Darrell Peshlakai(Rashannon Peshlakai), Darren Peshlaka(Alicia Peshlakai), Elijah Peshlakai, daughters, Ernestine Peshlakai, Lorraine Tom, Karen Tom, Carol Tom and Cheryl Griffith(Eric Griffith) and a total of 14. grandchildren ,brothers Ernie Peshlakai, Everett Peshlakai sisters, Arlene Peshlakai and Darlene(Peshlakai) Valdez

Ernest is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lilly Peshlakai, sister Irene Peshlakai, nephew Ermen Peshlakai and other uncles, aunts, cousins, grandparents.
