Ernest "Ernie" Medina

Ernest “Ernie” Medina, 92, of Farmington, NM peacefully went home to be with his Heavenly Father on October 24th, 2022.

Ernie was born on March 20th, 1930, in Center, Co. the son of Adolpho and Rebecca Medina.

Ernie was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather who was constantly giving of his time and resources.

Ernie was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, of 67 years. Ernie is survived by his brother Rudy Medina; his three daughters Patricia Lobato, Carmen (Nick) Candelaria, and Sandy (Rob) Wilson; his grandchildren, Aaron (Melissa) Lobato, Darren Lobato, Jason (Nikki) Lobato, Charmoin (Dave) McKendrick, Dorella (Josh) Jolly, and Michael Wilson; his great grandchildren; Ryan, Payton, Ashton, Davin, Phoenix, Azurae, Aleah, Moriah, and Caleb.

Ernie was a longtime resident of Farmington. He relocated his family to the area in 1956 where he was a career meat cutter for more than 54 years. He was an amazing father and grandfather who enjoyed working, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He will forever be in our hearts. The family would like to thank the staff of Cedar Ridge Inn and Basin Hospice, who were so kind and caring.
