Eloisa E. Mascarenas

Our beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on April 18, 2021, at the age of 92, at Gingerich Home for the Elderly. She was born May 11, 1928 in Durango, La Plata, Colorado to Teofilo Martinez and Maria Magdalena Delgado, the 7th of 13 children.

Eloisa worked and retired from the U.S. Post Office as a mail carrier and a clerk. She helped her husband, Gilbert, build a successful construction company. Her many talents included master gardener, prize winning flower arranger, sewing, crocheting, quilting, embroidering, ceramic painting and cooking. Her enchilada dinners will be remembered by all. She was loved by all with her infectious laugh and generous nature. She filled all our hearts with happiness.
