Charley Shields, 44, of Farmington, died on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, on NAPI, Chaco Plant area, in Farmington. He was born April 14, 1968, in Shiprock.
Charley was a welder with Union 798 and he did ranch work.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Etta Greyeyes Shields; grandparents,
Mr. Greyeyes and Elizabeth Greyeyes and Nora and Joe Peter.
Charley is survived by his brothers, Nelson, Alexander and Abraham Shields and his sisters, Charlene Chee, Rachel and Rhoda Shields.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, at the First Baptist Church of Farmington, 121 N. Auburn Ave. (511 W. Arrington), with Frankie Greyeyes officiating.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
Charley's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Kirtland, 458 County Road 6100, 505-598-9636.
