Amy Elizabeth Fred

Amy Elizabeth (Frost) Fred, 56, of Bloomfield, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, in Farmington. Amy was born April 6, 1959, in Greenwich, Conn., the daughter of Edwin Dewey Frost Jr. and Margaret Cantello Frost.
Amy graduated from Mt. Holyoke College, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She had a talent to master any craft or situation. Amy was fluent in three languages -- German, English and Hebrew -- and could understand Italian, French and Spanish. She was a weaver, artist and literary person and had an IQ of 160. Her life was filled with many interests. Amy was a friend to all she met. She will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
Amy is survived by her sister, Pamela Cutrone of Merritt Island, Fla., and a host of dear friends.
Cremation has taken place, and memorial services for Amy will be held Monday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at the Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington St. in Farmington. Everyone is invited to come and share of story of Amy's life.
